Nov 20, 2008 - Moore is 100% right! GM/Chrysler/Ford keep making SHIT PRODUCTS. Instead of quality Honda/Toyota type products! (that's what people want) That's he solution - No Jobs need to be lost, we just need more Honda and Toyota plants! Move all UAW workers to work there.Let the big 3 die! Bad market vision should NOT be rewarded. If we give them $25 Billion - they might turn around and start making small Bradly TANKS, guzling 2 miles per gallon...

Nov 20, 2008 - Greed is the ugliest trait of human beings.

DaHonestAbe Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - I believe they build the car on planned obsolescence. Thats what they call it.

chris145799 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Ford,GM, and Chrysler make cars just as good as honda and toyota...people just don't give them a chance i feel

jvarela965 Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - The roots of the car makers problems go back to the Depression. Before 1938 American cars were well crafted precision machines. After 1938 made with cheapest materials, engineered simple and built big and FAT to create an illusion of being well made. Cadillac in 1930 offered 3 engines V8 - V12 - V16

Nov 21, 2008 - SPECIAL PROMOTION!(for a limited time only)File for bankruptcy 2 times and get the 3rd one FREE!TIP:Don't call it a "Bailout" or a "Rescue", just call it a "FUN-nancial crisis".... (Now who would say no to MORE FUN?)

zarkonacas Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - @ ChrisU are right, it just depends what type of car u by from them. Germany cars do suck too its its not like all of them are good. All how wants the Big 3 to go bankrupt look at England what happend when their Car industry got bankrupt...

meryama001 Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - F.O.R.D: fixed or repaired dailychrystler,,they mostly used them for rental carsGM: useless and overpricedso I still don't see how they are just as good as honda and toyota,, cause if that was the case, I don't think they'll be needing any bailout...that's if their problems are real...

chris145799 Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - They don't need a bailout because the cars are bad, they need a bailout because of the UAW and their gold plated health care benefits. for example, GM has three times as many retirees as active workers, and health care costs for both groups cost the company $4.6 billion in 2007. The UAW's lavish health benefits added $1,200 to the cost of each vehicle produced in the United States.

Nov 24, 2008 - Dude! What a blow hard! Forget telling them what to do! Just let them fail! So, we're socialist when companies fail, but capitalist when they succeed? WHAT?

NiteTide Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - This man is so ignorant. Why does he have a voice? His films are sometimes amusing, but serve as little more than hyperbole pieces. He's a poor journalist. He doesn't understand cars or car companies. The Big 3 (more Ford and GM) have changed their ways in the last five years and are producing many quality vehicles both domestically, and world wide, that are efficient and, that people want to buy. If you want them to revert back to building cars no one wants, let the fed mandate what tobuild

Mikeythepigmouse Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - Fortunately, the people who are smart enough to spell the names correctly.....know the truth. Well, at least you spelled GM correctly. Chuckle.

1955porsche Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - american cars have the gas mileage of an abrahms or leopard tank, sack these parasite ceos that destroyed these usa auto makers, take the money the ceos robbed, bonuses etc and use that mega millions to continue with.all management must be sacked, hard working americans w pride stay. look at harley davidson, pride, excellent management and bike builders. thats the real america.

311herbs Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Newsflash you fat ass, its not 1940 anymore!

rondaddy08 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Acyually most GM vehicles that are sold in the U.S. are STILL built in the U.S. And how many people know that alot of Mitsubishis are built in the U.S. by UAW workers?? And what about the Toyotas built in California by UAW workers? My point is that the U.S. is still the largest car market and the Big Three need to keep the factories within the U.S.!! And the solution to the labor cost difference is to unionize ALL North American auto plants including Mexico!!!

agianticturd Says:

Dec 3, 2008 - The CEOs are absolutely LIARS and scums. They are blaming the collapse of their business on the financial crisis. Sure it had something to do with it, but it ever occur to them people are not buying their car because they dont stand up to all the Nissans, Toyotas, Hondas, and Hyundais. Those companies are experiencing the same financial crisis as GM, Ford and Chrysler, but you dont see them on the verge of going bankrupt. Such nerve for the CEOs to say that. Im truly disgusted and outraged!

JDE24 Says:

Dec 3, 2008 - There are still problems with the structure of the UAW, but 85% of those issues were resolved over the past two years. While I think the days of UAW power are over, there is the problem that these companies are old and have a lot of retirees.Foreign automakers have been receiving massive tax breaks which none of the domestic automakers have been given. The Honda Plant in Alabama was completely paid for by the tax payers of the state and included 100 yrs of training for any plant employee.

ohh2clever Says:

Dec 7, 2008 - someone call greenpeace and help get this beached whale back out to sea!!!!!!! hurry before he shits on everything!!!!!

mikeandlaurie1979 Says:

Dec 8, 2008 - I am dissapointed that the bailout is likely to happen. Anytime Bush or his administration gets involved is concerning. Bush has a long history with throwing money (our money) towards BIG BUSINESS. American auto makers deserve to fail. I will never purchase any american made auto again. These crooks will be back again, it's the plan. Thankfully 1-20-09 marks an end of an error.
