On the side, ABC journalist teams were allowed to film inside the country, but the NKs were paid 15+ Million dollars for these events to take place.

But in general it tends to emphasize fancy but not useful technique not suited for serious fighting.

Aug 20, 2008 - Official TKD is a pure joke. The rules are ridiculous and the fights are so uniformed you would see them in a movie. However Pure TKD which is rarely taught anywhere today is incredibly powerful (not as powerful as jujitsu or muay thai) as it focuses on leg attacks.
